About Me

Megan "Max" Lasher is a digital marketing strategist, writer, and SEO/E-commerce specialist with 8+ years of experience in working for legacy magazine, television, and food & beverage brands.

Graduating with a dual film and math degree from Colby College, Max landed at TIME as the assistant to Time Inc.'s director of audience strategy. After a year of experience, they made the switch to Hearst, ultimately leading the company-wide social strategy team, overseeing 27+ brands and advising on strategy across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and E-commerce platforms like Amazon. While there, they  founded Hearst’s LGBTQ vertical with Seventeen Magazine, called HERE, and served as its writer and editor.

Max made the switch to agency life and took on a role at Digital Media Management as an Account Supervisor for the NBCU client. They spearheaded digital campaigns for shows like Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Office, and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, and helped launch original shows on the new streaming service Peacock. Their work at NBC  included major influencer campaigns and working with on-set talent and larger marketing teams to translate each show's voice onto social media.

They've since relocated to Denver, CO where they serve as a Senior Social Strategist for the Integer Group, working on clients like KeVita, Truss, Lagunitas, and Orgain. They spearhead campaigns for influencer, E-commerce, paid social, and organic social, and they have a passion for distilling key marketing touchpoints into intriguing and digestible videos and posts that consumers love.

Megan is available for short-term and long-term marketing, consulting, and writing opportunities.
